Crafts 2006

Saturday, Sept. 30 and and Sunday, Oct. 1, 10-5 – Bar 1848 in the Unicentre Building of the University of Ottawa (room 205)

While you’ll find tea cozies and handmade teddy bears at traditional craft sales, expect to find iPod cozies and plush monsters at this one. All hand crafted with a fiery DIY spirit, the finds include handmade purses and accessories, silk-screened t-shirts and underwear, guitar straps and photography.

Ladyfest Ottawa craft sales have become a highly anticipated event by girls and boys in the know who have a love for edgy, punky, handmade wares.

Children are invited to join Lara at the very first ever kids’ craft table. Kids age 3 and up will create wind chimes made of new and recycled materials. Your donation will help pay for materials. Lara Bober is a kindergarten teacher at a Montessori School in Wakefield.
