Testimonials

"I was not sure what to expect as I had never heard of the festival before. It ended up being the most fun I've had running a cycling workshop, and certainly the most paticipatory! The crowd of women and men who attended were so enthusiastic: not only did they bring interesting questions to the session, but they were keen to share their own experiences and knowledge as well. Probably the best part of the experience for me, however, was to find myself in the middle of a most wonderful event that I never would have known about had I not been a workshop leader. I attended some other facscinating and fun sessions after mine was over, and also lost myself for an hour among the beautiful works of art in the craft show. Everywhere I wandered, I was met with warm smiles from the other participants, and had a few good chuckles while watching the many children in attendance run and dance and shout in the central festival space. I will definitely be returning next year, and hope to attend even more events. I've also become excited about other possible workshops I could run, after seeing so many inspiring, eclectic subjects being covered this year."

"I just wanted to give a big "Thanks!" for the arts & crafts sale last weekend. I've participated in a number of these sorts of fairs & sales over the last couple of years, and yours are always the best organized and best run...Between the friendly atmosphere, the contacts I made, the good crowd and the fact that you fed me, I thought it was a great weekend."

"Thanks for all the hard work you put into organising Ladyfest and especially the craftsale. It's such a fun thing to be part of and your time put in to planning and preparing is certainly well-spent and well-appreciated. Offering a by-donation lunch was also an excellent idea - made things much easier for us. Thanks! I'm already looking forward to the next one."

"I had the bestest time ever! Just got off the greyhound, now safely back in the t-dot, but damn if it wasn't worth the trip. Wonderful weekend ladies. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it."
